UPDATE: Dr. Martens has confirmed that both collaborative loafers will launch on Dr. Martens’ UK site on April 6.
Following last year’s collaborative kicks, UNITED ARROWS & SONS reunite with Dr. Martens for a bespoke set of slip-ons. The British footwear label delivers a duo of bit loafers for the Japanese label, complete with a premium price tag.
Offered in a slick black leather and a forest green suede, the loafers sport moc toes, a kiltie panel on the instep and a gold bit across the foot. Soft leather lining ensures both an easy break-in period and long-lasting durability, while Dr. Martens’ classic non-slip outsole adds a bit of heft to the slim, almond toe silhouette. Unlike the lower end models, these loafers are made in England at Dr. Martens’ Wollaston factory to guarantee high quality.
Both collaborative Dr. Martens Loafers are available on UNITED ARROWS’ web-store to pre-order for ¥60,480 JPY (approximately $540 USD).
Recently, fellow Japanese mega-retailer BEAMS remastered the classic Dr. Martens 1461 derby.
