BARCELONA MICRO APARTMENT

As property prices continue to skyrocket, the trend for micro
apartments is growing. But living in a itty bitty teeny tiny space can
be a challenge. Architecture studio Cometa Architects
have transformed this small 56 sqm apartment perfectly showing how to
make the most of a tiny space. Located near Barcelona?s Olympic Marina,
the micro apartment has been radically remodeled with some principles of
the small size naval architecture,  creating an architectural journey
where one would need just the essential. The square plan of the
apartment is organized around a compact wooden cabin, where the toilet,
closets, laundry room and installations are located. Two pure white
volumes determine the wet areas: the kitchen island and the bathtub.
Despite the limited square meters, this apartment enjoys extended space
thanks to the direct connection of the interior-exterior which doubles
the space, letting tones of natural light enter and of course the
natural breeze of the sea.
