Dubbed the SPACE10, IKEA created a future-living lab to take a further
peek into what awaits us in terms of co-living. They have now presented
their first ever cookbook with a collection of recipes based on future
food trends. Future Food Today
is a collection of delicious, sustainable and future-proof recipes that
set up the perfect menu for better eating, both for ourselves and the
planet. From homegrown spirulina buns to mushroom ramen, the recipes
steer clear of unsustainable sources of protein, instead basing meals
around micro-algae, insects and other eco-friendly ingredients. It also
includes simple guides to producing food locally and sustainably, and
explains how to use alternative ingredients, gastronomic innovation and
technology.
