Neil Barret’s BLACKBARRETT 2017 Lookbook

For years, Neill Barrett has remained a fixture in fashion’s high-end luxury class — creating seasonal collections that borrow from various subcultures. Renowned for working structured shapes and fitted silhouettes into his garment collections, the accomplished designer has also applied these same design philosophies into his BLACKBARRETT diffusion label. Initially launched with the activewear activist in mind, fashion-forward design elements help elevate sportswear-inflicted items into a category all its own.

The brand recently unveiled a new lookbook — comprised mainly of running shorts, compression pants, long-sleeve crewneck sweats, hoodies, vests and a wide assortment of jacket styles. Barrett’s love for stripes and geometric patterns also surface throughout, with such prints landing on several key pieces. The collection is up for grabs now at SSENSE.

In other fashion news, Stüssy recently launched a new line of themed T-shirt designs.
