Rae Sremmurd’s Swae Lee & Slim Jxmmi Are Going Solo

With their new studio album SremmLife 2 out and ready to soundtrack parties, club events and festivals across the globe, the two members of Rae Sremmurd are revealing something huge in a brand new interview. Speaking to Complex for a new feature, Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi have announced that they are going down solo directions. While Rae Sremmurd is still alive, the two down-south artists have decided to try to their hands at the solo music game. Giving his side of the story, Swae Lee shared that he has “eight songs” completed that might make the final cut of his own solo effort, Swaecation. Elaborating and continuing, Jxmmi says that you shouldn’t be “interviewing Rae Sremmurd if you’re only going to do half an interview” and that these next solo releases are “chances for the fans to get to see us individually… But we’re still Sremmed out. We might put them on the same disc—who knows? We definitely got different projects that we’re working on and tweaking.” Besides this, the pair have also explained to HNHH for another interview that this SremmLife sequel will be the last SremmLife project. Looks like we have a new Rae Sremmurd to look forward to after this.
