OAMC Spring/Summer 2020 Runway Collection PFW

For Spring/Summer 2020, Luke Meier’s OAMC pushes the envelope of technical design, exploring realms rooted in blue collar tradition. Progressive fabrics mesh with organic knitwear and heritage-indebted shirting, yielding a new standard of functional design.

Familiar OAMC touchstones, like militaria and aerospace uniforms, gave way to a series of looks that functioned like the elegant evolution of European workwear. Exaggerated bags and leather scarves reinforced the collection’s aim to deliver fashion forward workwear items, complementing the loose twist on fishermen’s knitwear, boxy work shirts and extended leather chore coats.

Shorts and leggings reinforce comfort and ease of movement alike, complementing the effortless layering opportunities provided by oversized, raw-hemmed graphic T-shirts, quarter-zip plaid pullovers and trim drawstring pants, all executed in neutral colors and plaids. Along with the chore jackets, jumpsuits and mac coats, a new adidas Originals collaboration appeared in several colorways, alongside several boots and leather mules, representing a youthful twist on rugged essentials.
