XLARGE Unveils ‘Street Fighter 2’ & 2Pac Collabs

As a brand which is creeping up on three decades in the streetwear industry, XLARGE® has witnessed trends and influential figures come and go throughout its history. Therefore, it was only fitting that earlier in the year the label ramped up the nostalgia factor by dropping collaborative releases with iconic TV franchises Dragon Ball Z and Beavis and Butt-Head.  Now the brand is set to unleash two more throwback collaborations to end the year with a bang. First up is the Street Fighter II collaboration which was previously teased a month ago. Fan favorites Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, Guile and Vega are immortalized across a range of T-shirts bearing the characters’ respective 8-bit avatars across the front. The remaining dual-tone tracksuits, hoodies and mesh caps pay tribute to the video game’s iconic logo using a a reimagined XLARGE® logo in brushstroke typography.

The second capsule drop for the Fall/Winter 2017 season should come as a big surprise. Paying tribute to none other than Tupac Shakur, XLARGE® is offering up a range graphic-printed tees, a heavyweight hoodie, and a long-sleeved shirt, all of which boast archival photographs of the late rapper and a 2PAC logo in printed and embroidered forms. Old English XLARGE® branding is also featured along the sleeves across the items. To round off the drop, the duo have also included a 5-panel cap and beanie. The XLARGE® x 2PAC collaboration will see an initial release at this year’s ComplexCon alongside the Street Fighter II collaboration on November 4. Peruse both capsule drops in the exclusive editorial above and make sure to stay tuned for more updates regarding the online release on the XLARGE® webstore.
